Some bits my group and I have been working on are coming together slowly.
All will be available soon from the Involve shop, The Mall, Maidstone, Kent
I met two wonderful ladies on a first aid course last year and decided to make some bags for them to sell at forthcoming events. Forgot to take pictures of the bags, so what better than to put a link to their webpage which has pictures of the bags and also tells you about their great cause.
Please visit their site also those of the other charities I support and if you can help any of these charities in any way that would be great, Thanks
Most of the things I make for Charity are available to buy from either the Involve shop, The Mall, Maidstone, Kent. Or their Etsy shop
Other items available form Demelza Charity shop, Star Arcade, Maidstone, Kent.
I am also supporting Shepway Chariots, another wonderful Maidstone Charity project.
Some of the items are starting to come together and look good. Also made a few new bits for the Involve shop, things like the easels will be to display items on and other items are for sale.
Here are a few new things I have been working on, some are complete, some still need finishing. My shed group is seriously lacking regular volunteers and my health is not very good at the moment, but I still try to do as much as I can.
Mobile phone stand and mini easel are complete. Pull along and free standing dachshund still need work, as do the horse head and bird.
This is my latest project I started last week, cut it out of hardwood so it’s stronger and less likely for bits to snap off, I know it does not look much now but watch this space.
None of my volunteers turned up last week, I am hoping some do this Thursday. I can’t get any new volunteers at the moment, as the coordinator has left and have to wait for a new one to be taken on.
Had a nice walk on Saturday to deliver the dolls cot to the customer, she was well pleased with it. Now I have to make a second one for someone else, maybe I will make something different this time.
